April's Meeting Notes-
Book Drive was a success! We donated books to our own Media center, Bogue Sound Elem, and Broad Creek Middle school, as well as took a few books to the Emerald Isle Library. Thanks Kerry for delivering books!
APRIL's community service : BACK PACK BUDDIES is a program at Bogue Sound Elem that sends home food items for the weekend in a back pack. Beta will help with this program this month! Please check the wall on Mrs. Moore's room for a list of foods, or simply bring in $3.oo for the cause.
Deadline is APRIL 27. Can't meet the deadline? Campus Clean up will be APRIL 30. I know, these deadlines are around the prom time...avoid them and take care of business early!
Seeds for success were handed out. Give a packet of seeds to someone who has helped in your success as a Beta member. Or sow some seeds in your own yard!
HONOR CORDS for seniors will be ordered at $5.oo a cord. Orders will be taken soon!
We are still trying to schedule Beta Bowling.
Our valentines were well received by the
VA hospital in Durham, the VFW in Swansboro
and the JPAO at Cherry Point.
